As an architectural photographer I have had the good fortune to go behind the scenes. Most of today’s theaters have a control room filled with computers and panel boards which run the high tech lighting and sound systems. The lights are controlled by a computer, which can remember their intensity and placement then program their recall at will. Entire scenes of a play can be consistently lit, night after night, with a push of a button. Isn’t technology great when it makes our entertainment more enjoyable?
