I am writing this to you the day after the Catholic Church elected a new pope. We can say that there is a real time tie in with that news. In my world, the world of an architectural photographer, I pay attention to the events of the day at least as much as the everyman does. I pay a bit more attention to the way the news on the tube and in print will compose what they are showing, and that is simply because I have been trained to look for and think in the visual medium. We can call it taking my job home.
