If I were asked as an architectural photographer which features I’d like to see in a library, I would be quick to answer: plush comfort. I’ve always associated the library with a comfortable setting, a place to relax, an area to study and explore the world of the written word. Is it an under-utilized asset in today’s society? That is a question you will have to ask yourself, along with: when was the last time you spent an afternoon at a library? According to recent data, people are using libraries more this decade than last decade.
