As an architectural photographer, I will encounter some out of the ordinary situations. After travelling to photograph a school in a small town, I expected to find a commons area set up as a lunchroom. Instead I found the room arranged as a theater to accommodate a public memorial service for a local dignitary. Fortunately, my client did not mind capturing the dual purpose of the space, saving me hours of chair stacking. Schools can also be serve as community forums, and that is how it should be.
