There are many lighting variables to consider in a good architectural twilight photograph, and many are out of the photographers control. Metal halide, sodium vapor, and fluorescent lights will all give off unusual color casts. You can filter for one, but who says there will only be one type of light source? A split exposure—in essence double exposing—under two light sources will work on an interior photo, but not a twilight exterior. That is an exciting challenge with architectural photography!
